The Faculty of Business, Economics and Law Employment Services Unit has employed the services of a range of industry representatives to assist postgraduate students and recent BEL alumni with managing their career development.
This comprehensive series of workshops aims to providing participants with the ultimate readiness for their career after postgraduate study. Provided at no cost, these seminars are excellent opportunities for students to access the same level of executive coaching and career management that senior executives in some of the world's largest organisations access.
The Career Management Workshop Series will be held in Semester One and Two. Semester One's sessions will be targeted at BEL postgraduate students with less than 3 years professional work experience and Semester Two's sessions at UQBS MBA and BEL postgraduate students with 3 years+ professional experience. Both series will cover the core outline below, however each will be tailored in accordance with the career stage of the participants, ensuring that the content of each workshop is relevant and appropriate and allowing delegates to share experiences and ideas with peers.
