BEL Faculty Course Evaluations

The Faculty of Business, Economics and Law is keen to promote open and accessible feedback to students by publishing the results of BEL Eval Course Evaluations completed by students each semester.

The information provided is a full and accurate record of the course evaluation data available to the Faculty since semester 1, 2005. The data will be updated on a semester by semester basis.

Not all courses are offered each year and therefore no results may be listed for a particular course. Courses where there were less than 20 students enrolled are not included.

BEL Eval course evaluations relate only to courses offered by Schools within the Faculty of Business, Economics & Law, i.e. UQ Business School, T.C. Beirne School of Law, School of Economics, School of Tourism.

Where a course has been taught in several classes and/or on more than one campus, the results are averaged.

The Evaluations are based on a scale of 1 to 5 on the following questions:
  1. The course has fulfilled the stated objectives
  2. The workload was appropriate for the unit value of the course
  3. Assessment requirements and marking criteria were made clear at the beginning of this course
  4. I have achieved the graduate attributes which the course aimed to develop (e.g. oral/written communication, team work, critical thinking, problem solving, ethical)
  5. The course was well administered (e.g. sufficient resources were available when needed
  6. Overall I was satisfied with the quality of this course.
